About the Project

What is Happy Wars: Community Revival?

A fan-driven game preservation project. After the official Happy Wars servers were shut down, our volunteer community worked to restore the Steam version so players could continue enjoying the game.

We provide:

  • Dedicated game servers
  • Matchmaking services
  • Community support and guides
  • Regular maintenance and updates

This is entirely non-commercial and run by passionate fans who want to preserve gaming history.

Why did you create this project?

Game preservation. When Happy Wars servers shut down, a beloved game became unplayable. We believe games are cultural artifacts worth preserving.

Our motivations:

  • Preserve access to a game people love
  • Keep the community alive
  • Demonstrate the importance of game preservation
  • Provide a free, non-commercial alternative

We have no commercial interest and make no profit from this project.

Is this project free? How do you pay for servers?

Yes, completely free for all players. We cover costs through:

  • Voluntary donations from community members
  • Personal contributions from team members
  • Efficient server management to minimize costs

We will never:

  • Charge for access
  • Create premium features
  • Implement pay-to-win mechanics
  • Require payment of any kind

Donations are optional and help keep servers running, but are never required.

Who runs this project?

A team of volunteer community members. We are:

  • Long-time Happy Wars players and fans
  • Software developers and system administrators
  • Community moderators and organizers
  • Completely independent volunteers

We have no affiliation with Toylogic Inc., Microsoft, or any commercial entity. This is a passion project by fans, for fans.
